Marin Rose (she/her) is adaptable, versatile, and is known for her charming smile and can-do attitude. She has performed in many areas of entertainment (concert, musical theater, industrials, commercials, film and tv), and also has a passion for working with kids in dance. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Marin saw how much the school shutdowns were affecting children and realized she could help be part of a solution. In 2020, Marin started her own virtual dance program for kids ages 3 through 18, and has had the joy of teaching more than 1000 young dancers (so far!) in her virtual classes and workshops.

Marin grew up in Dallas, TX where her training began at the Ballet Academy of Texas under the direction of Lisa Slagle. From there, Marin studied Modern dance seriously under Ronelle Eddings and attended summer programs at The Ailey School (professional division), Interlochen Center for the Arts (Merit Arts Scholar in Modern Dance) and The American Dance Festival. Marin earned her BFA in Dance graduating Cum Laude from the internationally recognized dance program at Point Park University.

Marin’s diverse training makes her a versatile dancer and performer.  She has had the privilege of working in many different facets of the entertainment industry. Favorite performance credits include: commercials (DART, Southern Sky Films), national tours (Lightwire Theater, A Very Electric Christmas), regional theater (EMC; Pittsburgh Musical Theater, Cumberland Theater), theme parks (Busch Gardens Tampa), concert dance (Ronald K. Brown/Evidence, Byham Theater), and working background on various film and television shows.

Marin also loves to tell stories through dance and spark the imagination of audiences through her choreography. Favorite choreography credits include: Stagedoor Manor (AC), the Distinguished Young Women State Programs (formerly America's Junior Miss), Cumberland Theatre, feature film "Haunting at the Beacon," short film "Shake and Bake," Suffolk Dance Brand Catalog, online digital shorts, and numerous dance schools and studios.

On a quiet day, you can often find Marin exploring the surrounding nature trails of Los Angeles, followed by a cup of tea and watching re-runs of Gilmore Girls on Netflix. Marin is currently on faculty at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy teaching in their Early Bird Program.

Marin is currently based out of Los Angeles
