CURRENTLY: Marin Rose (she/her) is adaptable, versatile, and is known for her charming smile and can-do attitude. She has performed in many areas of entertainment (concert, musical theater, industrials, commercials, film and tv), and also has a passion for working with kids in dance and choreography. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, Marin saw how much the school shutdowns were affecting children and realized she could help be part of a solution. In 2020, Marin started her own virtual dance program for kids ages 3 through 18, and has had the joy of teaching more than 1000 young dancers (so far!) in her virtual classes and workshops. Marin is also currently on faculty at The Debbie Allen Dance Academy under the direction of Emmy and Golden Globe award winning Producer, Director, and Choreographer, Miss Debbie Allen, teaching in their Pre-Primary and Primary Academy program.
BACKGROUND: Marin's background is rooted in Classical Ballet Technique (ABT Curriculum), Modern (Graham and Horton), and Theater Jazz (Ron Tassone). Marin earned her BFA in Dance graduating Cum Laude from the internationally recognized dance program at Point Park University and has also trained at The Ailey School in NYC, Interlochen Center for the Arts in MI, and The American Dance Festival in NC.
